Feature description
Toggle switch somewhere in settings (maybe a new Network category even, if that would be appropriate) to switch off the use of IPv6 for fetching content.
Why do you want this feature?
YouTube is particularly bad about forcing "sign in to confirm you're not a bot" on IPv6 networks (and Google in general tends to apply draconian levels of CAPTCHA to IPv6 users). This has been raised before in #12146 where blocking IPv6 was found to be a solution for one user. Issue #11141 also had a report of poor behavior in regards to IPv6. I'm very much an advocate for IPv6, but without workarounds for bad behaviors by Google like this, and in the absence of Android having an option to disable IPv6 on wifi networks, there's a strong incentive to shut it off at the entire network level, which is unfortunate.
