Play,next track button missing in Lock Screen (Android 16)

Steps to reproduce the bug

1.Play song
2. Lock the screen
3. Turn on into the LockScreen
4. No PLAY or STOPcontrols are shown, are missing, only Track name is there

Expected behavior

I expect Play, Stop , Next track controls like in the picture in my old mobile Android14

Actual behavior

The widget for Play / Next track is present in Android 14, but it is missing in Android 16 Google Pixel 9a. Only the track name is shown in the label.

it should look like the picture (Android 14). Have someone the same issue on Android 16 on the Lockscreen?

Can you make screenshot/photo of how "buggy" version looks for you

Also can you try another app (for example vlc) which also provides media player on lock screen and say if it also affected? If yes, it is probably problem of device...

Android 16 - missing controls

I tried VLC - the same issue.
But I have contacted the Goggle support via Live chat with operator and he advised me to disable the skip lock screen feature. It helps! The control are visible. But it should works together. He redirected this behavioral to engineer team. Maybe it will be fixed in the future.

Then it's not a NewPipe issue but an operating system issue. Closing as can't fix.
