when is click "trending" I get an error "could not parse website"

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Click on trending
2. then this error comes up. Picture in attachment.
3. i have also attached pictures of the error report
4. this bug comes up every time i hit trending.
5. is this problem because i am only new to using newpipe and it needs me to have more history?

@dustdfg : didn't YouTube announce back in July last-year that they were discontinuing "trending", and https://charts.youtube.com would replace it?

So I guess they've finally got-'round to discontinuing the URL you mentioned.

If you visit the desktop version of the YouTube website, "trending" no-longer appears in the left-sidebar.

You can view trending music, podcasts and movie trailers there, and change the dropdown in the top-right to select a country to see what is trending there. Podcasts doesn't offer changing country though, so must be based on US-views only.

Gaming hasn't been migrated to Charts yet.

And I don't think there is a page for general Videos or Shorts -- and there's no "Hyped" list I can see? Looking online suggests the "Hype" feature is currently exclusive to the Android and iOS apps, so that appears the only place that data can be found...

The beginning of the end of the Trending page was discussed in #12762. It is, indeed, just gone.

@dustdfg For now, I think that's unlikely. YouTube is probably just doing some A/B testing or in some kind of "contention" mode due to the total sh1t show that is the US right now (much like the US version of TikTok).

@dftf-stu You and @dustdfg are looking at different pages. @dustdfg is looking at the Podcasts' Explore section, you're looking at the Charts. The Explore sections are not supported at all by NewPipe, and I've opened an issue about this problem (#13084), and the Explore sections and the Charts can have totally different contents despite having the same names.

The Explore sections do change contents when changing your region on YouTube.
