Steps to reproduce the bug

When you start Android Auto, it doesn't continue the song or let you restart it. It only lets you go back and reselect the song to start it from the beginning. This usually happens when you stop Android Auto when you stop the vehicle and use your smartphone with any app. It seems to stop the app and lose playback memory.

Could you please fill out the issue properly with a detailed step by step guide and also with the other corresponding information (e.g. phone / Android / Android Auto version, etc).

Also this sounds like an Android Auto implementation problem.
