Feature description
Hi,
I am neither an Audio technician nor a programmer and have only heard words like resampling/ pitching and such. But what i have are good eares, and they tell me if i compare playing a video with 1.5 or 1.75 speed with mpv and compare that with new pipe, new pipe sounds much worse. You cant here it really when someone is talking but if there are music or engine noise's it sounds much worse if i sped it up in newpipe then when i download it and open it then in the mpv app.
I had used the external player function of your app in the past but since YouTube stopped providing even the 720p version as a combined stream and your player dosnt have some proxy dash code (like listening to loclhost and relaying ) which would be nice i now have to download a viedeo if i want to watch it in a enjoyable speed without having to wait for it to download.
Another way would be using mkv on downloads cause those can be played while downloading, i also seen mp4 files (i believe/ guess those are TS in facts w)ich are streamable but i would prefer mkv downloading then yoy can also embed subtitles, covers and put the video url and description to into its comment...
Why do you want this feature?
See above
Additional information
Thanks a lot for looking into it, i suggested a couple features, one of them would be enough for me i guess but i would of cause be glad if you would consider all of them (fix your audio Processing code (maybe ditch that to elaborated two dails thing, i dont need to control pitch), get external player support with audio back on yt (like i suggested or somehow else) and add an option to download to mkv (muxing while downloading) so stuff is streamable
Thanks a lot in advance and keep up the good work!
