I'm aware that this is a request for NewPipe itself and that requests for adding a new service need to be made at NewPipeExtractor.
I have taken the time to fill in all the required details. I understand that the feature request will be dismissed otherwise.
This issue contains only one feature request.
I have read and understood the contribution guidelines.
The three language settings are set to “French,” and original audio, but some titles and descriptions are translated into English, even though the original title is in French. I should point out that my system language is English (the only language available). It seems better that everything be or remain in the language of the “content.”
You can already do that. Go to settings -> "Video and audio" -> toggle on "Prefer original audio"
I have this enabled and it works great while actually watching the videos. The one caveat I found is that the videos still show up with the translated title in my playlists (and I think the feed as well) until I open/watch the video. At that moment the title is updated to the original one and remains that way (presumably until one clears the cache).
Not sure if there is anything NewPipe can do without triggering extra requests for each video, but if it can be implemented without a lot of overhead that the original title is displayed I would love that.
I can confirm some video still show up with a translated title in my feed.
It will be perfect if we can disable this or enable original title only.
