Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Click Magnifying Glass immediately after opening NewPipe
2. Search for anything (or tap a recent search)
3. No results error appears

Expected behavior

1. Click Magnifying Glass
2. Search for anything (or tap a recent search)
3. Search results appear and you can click any of the results to play it

Actual behavior

The "no results" error appears

I tried forcing stop and clearing the app's cache on my Samsung S24U. My kid's Fire tablet is doing the same thing. I was literally using NewPipe just fine at around 2AM EDT (8 hours before I found this issue.)
However, I am still able to click and play any of the Trending videos and I am able to share videos from the YouTube App to NewPipe, showing that this issue is only with the search function and that the video player function still works.
I have also noticed that any videos I play do not have any related videos (this is likely related to the same search issue.)

Logs

No crashes happen.
Please let me know if there is a way I can pull a log without a crash occurring and I can add it upon your request.

This issue occurs on two different devices. It appears to be an issue with the search functionality (YouTube may have changed something on their end causing the search functions to break)

I just installed 0.28.0 (a test release, released about a week ago) on my S24U and the search function (as well as suggestions) is working fine there.

Yes, search is working fine in Release Candidate 0.28.0 apk attached in #12436 and NewPipe nightly as these has been shipped with updated extractor, thanks for testing RC v0.28.0 which preemptively fixes this bug.

I encountered the same issue simultaneously but now everything works fine again on version 0.27.7
