Shorts missing from feed despite being enabled from feed settings

I am also have this issue of missing shorts in feed

Same here on 0.27.2 (never mind, I meant #12312), but I’m also missing shorts in bookmarked playlists, unless I enable “Show ‘Next’ and ‘Similar’ videos”. Not sure if it’s connected of should be reported as a separate bug.

I don’t mean to pester you, but just to be curious, is there any hope of this being fixed before the big rewrite? I’d love to ditch the official app entirely, and this is the only core feature missing... Never mind, I meant #12312

None at all. It's the absolute core of the app that's being reworked, so any changes made to the 'outer layers' would be prone to breakage in short order, and may even interfere with the core work, prolonging the process.

That's pretty weird. Shorts missing should only happen in feeds, not in playlists. Please post a new issue with a screen recording.
