I have read the > FAQ <https://newpipe.net/FAQ/>> and my question isn't listed.
I have taken the time to fill in all the required details. I understand that the question will be dismissed otherwise.
I have read and understood the > contribution guidelines <https://github.com/TeamNewPipe/NewPipe/blob/dev/.github/CONTRIBUTING.md>> .
What is/are your question(s)?
Google have backed down on forcing Android developers to provide id. Users will still be able to install APKs from uncertified sources after September, though you'll need to set your device up to accept them in advance. It's a little convoluted though it will only have to be done once by the user

If I know Google, this is only being pushed back a year or two. I'll take it though, and make sure I never view another ad or give them any money directly. |

Same. Those Google ads are insane. Two years is a long time.

All true. I'm just hoping that the Newpipe team see this and back down from
their plans to abandon Android development later on this year.
Then again, I don't blame them if they're fed up of getting messed around
