Installation

  1. Clone project from git:

    $ git clone git@github.com:StoreInBox/sib-main.git

    $ cd sib-main

1.1. (Optional) Install and activate virtual environment:

$ virtualenv venv
$ source venv/bin/activate

  1. Install project (recommended to use virtual environment):

    $ python setup.py develop

  2. Create custom settings for project and configure them if needed:

    $ cp main/server/settings/custom.py.example main/server/settings/custom.py

  3. Migrate database:

    $ python manage.py migrate

  4. Create test data:

    $ python manage.py createtestdata

  5. Start server:

    $ python manage.py runserver

Update project

Project is in active development phase so there is no migrations for applications. Please recreate database after each update. Follow next steps

  1. Pull latest project version

    $ git pull origin master

  2. Remove SIB modules from cached files

    $ sed -i -n '/sib_/!p' venv/lib/python2.7/site-packages/easy-install.pth

  3. Update dependencies

    $ python setup.py develop -U

  4. Remove project database

    $ rm db.sqlite3

  5. Migrate tables

    $ python manage.py migrate

  6. Create test data

    $ python manage.py createtestdata
