From ff75dd30f496b96b34b80fbb56e582d120934ae4 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Mohamed jameel alabasy Date: Sat, 2 May 2026 11:26:35 +0300 Subject: [PATCH] Use curl -fsS for frontend smoke check Replace the manual HTTP status check and conditional logic with a simpler `curl -fsS` invocation that exits non-zero on network or HTTP errors. This simplifies the workflow step, makes failures reliable, and keeps the job failing when the frontend is unreachable or returns an error. Also normalizes the URL with a trailing slash. --- .github/workflows/frontend-cd-main.yml | 8 ++------ 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 6 deletions(-) diff --git a/.github/workflows/frontend-cd-main.yml b/.github/workflows/frontend-cd-main.yml index 31b93f21..f187d616 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/frontend-cd-main.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/frontend-cd-main.yml @@ -64,12 +64,8 @@ jobs: - name: Smoke check frontend run: | sleep 5 - STATUS=$(curl -s -o /dev/null -w "%{http_code}" https://rythmify.duckdns.org) - if [ "$STATUS" != "200" ]; then - echo "Frontend smoke check FAILED — HTTP $STATUS" - exit 1 - fi - echo "Frontend smoke check passed — HTTP $STATUS" + curl -fsS https://rythmify.duckdns.org/ -o /dev/null + echo "Frontend smoke check passed." - name: Clean up SSH key if: always()
