Hi Pi Network Core Team,
I would like to propose adding Arabic language support to the Pi Launchpad interface, as documented in this repository (specifically in PiRC/PiRC1/1-vision.md).
Why this is important:
- Massive User Base: The Pi Network community has millions of active Pioneers and developers across the Arab world (Middle East and North Africa).
- Accessibility & Inclusivity: Providing a localized interface will facilitate smoother navigation, encourage more Arab developers to build on the ecosystem, and increase engagement with Launchpad projects.
- RTL Support: Implementing Arabic will also ensure the platform's UI is properly optimized for Right-to-Left (RTL) text layouts, making it fully professional and accessible.
Proposed Solution:
- Add an Arabic translation (
ar.json or equivalent localization file) for all text strings in the Launchpad.
- Implement RTL styling support for the interface when the Arabic language is selected.
- I and many members of the Arabic community would be more than happy to help with the translation and review process to ensure high quality.
Thank you for your continuous efforts in expanding the Pi ecosystem!
Best regards,
@kamikaz007
