Additional feedback I forgot to mention: Hi again, I wanted to add some extra feedback that I forgot to mention in my first post. Some of these points may be misunderstandings from my side, because maybe I have not discovered all the systems yet or maybe I am using some features incorrectly. This is just my experience after playing the game for a while.
Again, sorry for the long message. I know this is a lot of feedback, but I wanted to share everything I noticed. If you prefer, I can split some of these points into separate issues later. |

Hi Open League Manager team,
First of all, congratulations on the project. I have played it for a few hours and I really like it. I think the base of the game is very good and it has a lot of potential, especially for people who have wanted a League of Legends/esports manager game for a long time.
I wanted to share some general feedback and report a few bugs/issues I found while playing.
Translations / language issues
Sometimes the language changes or some text appears mixed between Spanish, English and a language that looks similar to French. There are also parts where strange characters or question marks ? appear repeatedly, which makes some sentences difficult to understand. It seems like some parts of the UI do not keep the correct translation properly or may have encoding/character issues.
Free agent transfers
When trying to sign a free agent, the game shows a “value/price”. Since the player is a free agent, I am not sure if this should be free or if that value represents something else. Also, it seems possible to make extremely low offers, even €1, which feels strange and unrealistic.
Salaries and contract negotiation
When signing a player, especially a free agent, it does not seem possible to manually negotiate the salary. The salary appears already defined, and it is not clear if the user can change it. Also, when renewing contracts, players sometimes ask for a lot of money and there does not seem to be much room to negotiate lower terms. It would be nice if contract negotiation was more flexible and realistic. Not always easy, but with more options.
Transfer offers not going through
In some cases, when I make an offer for a player who is not a free agent, the game says that the club accepts, but the player does not. This seems to happen almost every time. I am not sure if this is a bug or if some conditions are missing, but right now it feels like many transfers are impossible to complete.
Transfer/sign button issue on mobile
On Android, in the transfer screen, sometimes the button on the right to sign/make an offer does not work. This happened to me on mobile. I had to open the player profile, scroll down and use the “make offer” button from there instead.
Repetitive draft bans
The draft becomes repetitive because the AI seems to ban almost the same champions every time. I understand that if a champion is strong, meta or one of a player’s mains, it makes sense to ban it, but it would be great if the draft AI had more variety and more intelligence: counters, team composition, team style, comfort picks, synergies, role priority, etc. Right now it feels too based on mastery/meta and becomes predictable.
Salary budget between seasons
In the second season, something strange happened. I had my salaries under control and enough salary budget room, but after advancing I went from around 25K available salary margin to only 5K, and I did not understand why. I finished third and reached the final, but I received a club penalty and I am not sure if it was related to that or to another system.
Calendar / season transition issue
In the second season, after saving and coming back later, I think the game skipped from friendlies directly to the regular season. Also, it still showed my next opponent as the first friendly match, even though I was already in the third week of the LEC.
Android fullscreen / mobile UI issue
On Android, the app does not seem to enter fullscreen mode properly. The notification bar, time, battery, etc. remain visible at the top, and it becomes difficult to press some buttons at the top of the screen. I tried the “expand screen” option in settings, but it did not seem to do anything. I am attaching screenshots showing the issue.
KOI player balance
I am a KOI fan, but I think some Movistar KOI/KOI players might be too strong or improve too quickly. Maybe their potential could be made a bit more neutral to avoid them becoming too overpowered.
Future content / regions
I also wanted to ask if you plan to add more leagues/regions such as LCK, LPL/China, NA, etc. If that is on the roadmap, I think the game has a lot of future potential.
Thanks for your time. I really like the game and I think the foundation is very strong. I understand it is still in pre-alpha and bugs are expected, but I wanted to share this feedback because I think the project has huge potential.
If you prefer, I can split this feedback into separate bug reports.
