Hand Estimation not aligned

Amazing work. Ive previously used Smpler-X and I'm happy to see that you have continued to improve it. However reading this paper I assumed the hand poses would be better than the previous model.. but through testing it seems that the previous model still outperforms this one in terms of hands. Please see screenshots

I have a similar issue, where the head alignment is very off(I think it has some kind of offset, similar to what the OP has posted), and the hand models are in some kind of default pose/shape and won't move. I have yet to see the codes thoroughly to find the issue, but I think you should be aware, thanks!

I also have a similar issue, the SMPLest-X results seemed always to be somehow floating above the person, whereas the SMPLer-X will somehow align with the boundary. It will be good that if we could get some clarifications from the authors. Thanks!

I have similar problem, the finger poses are nearly 0-rotation and the body as a whole isn't well-aligned with the image.

According to this, I think the author uploaded the wrong ckpt and fingers crossed for a fix soon :)

Still No Good ckpt updated to the hugging face link. Is there somebody retrained this work and made a new ckpt works well with hands？if there someone have done this work,can you share it with us? thanks for your work!!!
