Update DOSBox Staging?

Hi.

I see the last time DOSBox Staging was updated was in commit 8c20cb1 three years ago.

I recently submitted PRs to DOSBox Staging and have an updated/working copy I could apply the boxer-specific patches from three years ago (or the equivalent ones today, of course). Is it OK if I do so and submit it?

Well. That was three humbling weeks :D

Boxer's greatest advantage is also it's weakest point: Source code integrated to this degree means tech debt becomes insurmountable after a while as DOSBox Staging changes entire modules that Boxer had also replaced.

And then there's parport :D

Looking through this the "Go right ahead" was "one does not simply walk into Morder."

Looked into it more and even with AI it's a huge undertaking. It took the whole weekend and I updated staging from .780 to .781 and submitted it as a pull request. It also took a lot of bug squashing in Boxer for it to compile and testing it to work with the staging updates. I have not submitted that yet. I am now giving up on any further staging updating.
