Goal
Make the local Ubuntu golden actor reproducibly reach an activation-ready state where the extension user can complete their own LabVIEW Community Edition activation without exposing credentials to automation.
Scope
- Drive safe, repeatable golden actor provisioning preflight cycles.
- Make activation readiness explicit and fail closed.
- Preserve the human-only NI sign-in and activation step.
- Capture non-secret activation and actor-enrollment evidence.
- Make mesh actor lifecycle work resumable and efficient for future agents.
Completion Criteria
- A user can provision or inspect the golden actor and receive a clear activation-ready handoff.
- Automation never requests, captures, or transmits the user's credentials.
- A functional LabVIEWCLI probe determines activation status after the user completes the handoff.
- The resulting receipt gates golden actor enrollment.
- The workflow has an issue-sized commit/PR trail with reproducible validation evidence.
