Describe the bug
After updating to 4.2.2, videos simply refuse to play. Nothing's playable.

But youtube seem to have updated something as you can't watch any videos throught the official website if you have a VPN/proxy turned on (even while signed in), so maybe this has something to do with the playback issue, just more of Google screwing over users (pic rel.)

I use yt-dlp old version download this video(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGK-5aHj7yc),can not get any video with tage "--list-formats"

but I use yt-dlp 2025.03.25, work fine.
yt-dlp https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6hYDyacfPU --cookies D:\easy\yt.txt

it seems like still with some problems.
