[Bug] Videos fast forwarding randomly

Describe the bug
fast forwarding/skipping randomly

Frequency
not on every video, but it happens every 2 or 3 seconds when it does

Steps to reproduce the bug
just opening a video seems to do it

Device (e.g. Pixel 9 Pro)
Huawei P smart S

It doesn't seem like fast forwarding since the min duration is 5 seconds, which is not the case in your recording.
To me it looks like long press speeding, although I don't know how is it triggered.
Try Settings > Player > Long-press to speed the playback -> Disable

yeah i think its acting like a long press hold but disabling it doesn't solve the problem, it still happens in like 1/2 videos that i open

then maybe set your playback speed to 0.33x (or some other value)?

didn't contribute to anything sadly. also tried to set the long hold speeding to a much lower multiplier but the videos still do the thing as if it was in 5x min
other things i tried :
resolution changes
holding while the speeding occurs
and neither did these work

also it acts different in each video i think, in some it only speeds for like 1.5x while in others it speeds as if it is in 5x

I finally found it man, its the fast forward during silence setting. I have no idea why it triggers in my videos while there is clearly no silence but at least found the problem

its on the panel where you select tempo and pitch, its a check box.

OK I find it is a parameter passed directly to ExoPlayer, the underlying component we used for playing.
We recently updated the version of ExoPlayer so the issue may already fixed: check https://github.com/InfinityLoop1308/PipePipe/actions/runs/15557908173

If not, just turn off the setting and forget about it :)
