[Feature request] Add 'Clear queue' button

Description

When playing a stream from the History menu or an existing playlist, the rest of the streams from the History/playlist are loaded into the queue automatically. I would like to request adding a button to the 'Play queue' page that would clear the queue of all streams apart from the currently playing one. An alternative would be adding the possibility of selecting multiple queued streams to remove at once.

No it is not the expected behavior. What did you do to play a stream? Even if with Music Player Mode enabled it won't enqueue items in History.

When hitting 'Start playing in the background' on an individual stream from the History tab, it loads the entire History list into the queue. Music Player Mode on/off doesn't influence the behavior.

I do this when going to sleep by listening to some audio podcasts, which I always play in the background. Playing the streams in the main (video) player or the popup player doesn't seem to load the History items into the queue. So the behavior is limited to playing a stream in the background player.

Yeah that entry is meant to add all the streams to the queue. For your case the recommended way is to click the video -> background.
Or, you can still "start playing in the background" and then start a sleep timer.

In my opinion the 2 solutions essentially covers all the use cases so I think there is no need to add a clear queue button.

Hi, I just wanted to chime in and say that I also ran into the same problem.

How can I clear the queue?
