RDP File corrupt message with the latest Remote Desktop version 1.2.7214

With the latest Remote Desktop version 1.2.7214 there is an "RDP file corrupt" message.
No problem with version 1.2.6599.0.

You are referring to the Remote Desktop "MSI" application aka MSRDC.exe, that is also embedded in the "Windows App".
I found this problem only happens with .RDPW files. Just rename the extension to .RDP and it will work.

I am afraid M$ will never release a fixed version, as v1.2.7214 was probably just released as it fixes many high severity security issues.
