Issue on docs: custom_nodes still using V2 code

I'm new here, so it took me a while to realize that example_node.py was in fact up-to-date and it was the online docs that were using a completely different schema (V2 from what I can tell)

Would be neat if it were updated; it would save thousands of "man hours" digging through current code to infer how things are supposed to work really quick. (Not in a fundamental way, but there's always the chance of sight-reading something wrong or missing a piece of the puzzle, so I'm always uneasy without at least confirmation that, yes, this thing is designed for that; no, that thing doesn't work this way, etc

Hi @Black-Platypus, thanks for the report and sorry for the confusion!

You read it right: the Properties page documents the legacy V1 schema (INPUT_TYPES / RETURN_TYPES), while the bundled custom_nodes/example_node.py.example uses the modern V3 schema (io.ComfyNode with define_schema and a comfy_entrypoint function). V1 is still fully supported, so the docs are not wrong, but the page said nothing about V3, which is a documentation gap.

We have opened PR #1576 to add a clarifying note at the top of that page (in English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese) explaining that the examples use V1, that the bundled example node uses V3, and linking to the V3 Migration guide which covers the differences (define_schema vs INPUT_TYPES, comfy_entrypoint vs NODE_CLASS_MAPPINGS, fixed execute method, etc.).

Hope that helps clarify which schema is which. Thanks again for flagging it!
