Missing licensing terms #2

Description

@nkrusch

Thank you for open-sourcing this project and sharing your work.

I noticed that the repository currently doesn't include a software license. Without an explicit license, the code defaults to standard copyright law. This means that legally, no one can download, fork, modify, or use this code without explicit permission from you, even though it's public. If your intend to allow other researchers to reuse and extend the work, adding a license file to the root of your repository will clarify those terms.

You can add a license by creating a LICENSE file at the repository root. Resources like the Open Source Initiative are helpful in picking a license that best fits your preferences.

Thanks again for sharing this project.
