P10 Display with ESP32 #362

Description

@Rushikesh2401

Hi,

I'm using the PxMatrix library with an ESP32 to control a matrix of 12 P10 RGB LED panels, each of size 32x16 pixels, arranged in a 3x4 matrix (3 panels wide × 4 panels high).

I'd like help with the following:

1. Panel Wiring

  • What is the correct physical chaining order for the panels?
    • Should I wire left to right, then jump to the next row (like a snake pattern)?
    • Or should I go down column-wise?

2. Library Configuration

  • How do I set up the library for this 3×4 layout?
    For example:
    #define DISPLAY_WIDTH 96   // 3 * 32
    #define DISPLAY_HEIGHT 64  // 4 * 16

    PxMATRIX display(DISPLAY_WIDTH, DISPLAY_HEIGHT, LAT, OE, A, B, C, D);

    void setup() {
      display.begin(16);
      display.setScanPattern(LINE);
      display.setMuxPattern(BINARY);
      display.setPanelType(HUB75);
      display.setBrightness(100);
    }
